Chairman of the Sovereignty Council Meets with Delegation from the Beja People's Graduates' Conference in Eastern Sudan

General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, met on Tuesday with a delegation from the Beja People's Graduates' Conference in Eastern Sudan.

Dr. Issa Hamad Awli, head of the Executive Office of the Beja People's Graduates' Conference, stated in a press briefing that the meeting focused on the overall situation in Eastern Sudan, including development challenges in sectors such as infrastructure, services, health, and education, as well as governance and administration.

Dr. Issa added that the meeting discussed the importance of supporting the agricultural sector and rehabilitating agricultural projects in Eastern Sudan. He emphasized the need for a conference to address agricultural sector issues in the region.

He further explained that the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council affirmed his support for all development issues in Eastern Sudan, particularly in the water and electricity sectors. General al-Burhan pledged backing for the Beja People's Graduates' Conference’s projects aimed at achieving the region’s development goals.
