Chairman of the Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces meets with the Berti Tribe Delegation

The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, met today with a delegation from the Berti tribe, led by Zain Mohammed Ahmed Ajab, the representative of the Berti tribe’s king.


In a press statement, the representative of the Berti tribe’s king said that the delegation extended their congratulations to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces on the victories achieved by the Armed Forces and other regular forces in several areas in their efforts to defeat the rebel terrorist militia and defend the nation’s borders, unity, and sovereignty. He praised the great sacrifices made by the Armed Forces in confronting the rebellion.

He added that he informed the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council about the violations and displacements carried out by the terrorist militia against members of the tribe in the Siyah and East Malit areas, stressing the tribe's full support for the Armed Forces as they fight the battle of dignity and honor against the Al-Daglo terrorist militia.

Dr. Saleh Adam Ishaq Mamoun, head of the Sudan Liberation Army Movement, also commented on the delegation's visit to the Red Sea State and their meeting with the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council. He stated that this visit reaffirms their support for the Armed Forces, regular forces, joint forces, and volunteers in their fight against the rebellion, traitors, and the Al-Daglo militia, which has inflicted great suffering on the Sudanese people through violations, atrocities, and destruction of the nation's infrastructure.


He added that the meeting covered a range of issues, including the ongoing efforts to restore security, stability, and peace, as well as the necessary actions to end and eradicate the rebellion.
