Chairman of the Sovereign Council Meets with the Delegation of the Alert and Popular Resistance Committee in Kassala

Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, Chairman of the Transitional Sovereign Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces met on Tuesday with a delegation from the Alert and Popular Resistance Committee of Kassala State, led by retired Major General Moussa Ahmed Moussa.

Following the meeting, Major General Moussa made a press statement, noting that discussions centered on the committee’s mobilization efforts to support the Armed Forces and other regular forces in what he termed the "Battle of Dignity." He commended the strong response from the people of Kassala State, highlighting their significant support for the Armed Forces through active participation in various supportive movements and initiatives.

The Chairman of the Alert and Popular Resistance Committee in Kassala stated that he briefed the Chairman of the Sovereign Council on the activities and programs carried out by the committee during the past period.

Major General Moussa commended the response and support of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces for all alert and popular resistance committees across the country, considering them the primary support for the Armed Forces in their battle against the Al-Daqlo terrorist militia.
