278 doctors take the Sudanese Medical Council oath in Northern State

Dongola - A total of 278 doctors took the Sudanese Medical Council oath today at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Dongola.
The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Dongola and Deputy Chair of the Medical Oath Committee in Dongola, Dr. Kamal Abdullah, confirmed that the Sudanese Medical Council oath ceremonies are held in Cairo and broadcast online to various centers inside and outside Sudan.
Dr. Kamal congratulated all the doctors who took the oath, wishing them a successful professional life. He pointed out that the medical oath is the gateway to practicing medicine and bearing its ethical responsibilities in fulfilling duties.
For his part, the Chairman of the Emergency Committee of the National Council for Medical Specialties in Dongola, Dr. Mohamed Othman Al-Omda, stated that the doctors who took the Sudanese Medical Council oath are graduates of medical, pharmacy, and dental faculties. He highlighted the collaboration between the National Council for Medical Specialties, the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Dongola, and the Sudanese Medical Council in organizing the ceremony. In addition to Dongola, he mentioned that other centers in Port Sudan, Kassala, Atbara, Kosti, and several locations abroad also participated.
He also mentioned that the program included an address from the Chairman of the Medical Council, delivered online from Cairo, which focused on medical ethics and the general conduct of doctors.
